[IDEA] Generic (SoC-indipentent) ATV build ?

Hi everyone, this is a very interesting project !
I wonder if possible to create a "generic" (means SoC-indipendent) build by "just" excluding proprietary bloops and other platform-specific components.
It would be very cool to have an alternative custom for all boxex and, why not, android TVs.
Hope that inspires.
