S905L ?

Hello!

I'm an Android TV Box noob, and am looking to buy one soon. Specifically, I'm thinking of getting a Mi Box 4c. Thing is, it runs on Amlogic S905L, which isn't supported here. My question is, will it be a rom be made for it soon?

Xiaomi devices are locked by the manufacturer, you can only use the stock ROM. At least that's the case with MDZ-16-AB.

Too bad. I was hoping to save a bit of money by buying the cheaper Mi Box 4C, and flashing a new rom on it.

S905L uses the same DTB as S905X. I can confirm that.

Wonderful, why not just take some FW for s905x and install it?

problem I faced was that I could not find S905L img. So in case the S905x flash bricks the box? How revive the box?

1. If you try, you will get a brick 100%
2. only with original bootloader for p211.

A while ago I suggested that you compile the p211 uboot, but unfortunately you cannot send me logs
