Begging for the rom to be released isn't going to make it any faster. Why would a developer put their name on an unfinished buggy product? Just enjoy your perfectly working nougat for now and understand that OS development (especially without official sources) is very difficult and time consuming.

Yes, we cannot do much about it. The sdk we have is messy and only is an 8.0 version, not 8.1. I wish somebody could provide us with an 8.1 sdk

Looks like the Creator is using Github as a Repo for his/her projects. Not any detailed explanations of what exactly was made, how it was made, or any direct code to help others projects. But if I had an S905X device I would test the builds and stuff that is posted just out of curiosity

It's nothing, he's just flashing a GSI image over. Since treble, vendor and system are 2 different partitions. Vendor contains wifi and bt drivers and other modules so you only need to flash system to get new android.
That's exactly what people do, just flash General System Images like Pixel Experience and the vendor stats 8.0 but system becomes 9.0

A95X is S905X right? Because this webite mentions an 8.1 firmware for S905W not to mention many boxes on amazon claiming to have S905W and Oreo
