Isn't S905W the same as the S905X with lower clocks and limited display output modes? So the device tree blobs should be the same right?
S905W and S905X are very similar cpu's and reference boards, BUT the DTB is different, and the Device Tree ID is different. The CPU binaries are different and the display drivers are different.nikeshpurohit wrote: ↑Sat Jun 15, 2019 11:38 amIsn't S905W the same as the S905X with lower clocks and limited display output modes? I'm waiting for it, thank you for the clarification.ricklar wrote: ↑Sat Jun 15, 2019 2:08 pm S905W and S905X are very similar cpu's and reference boards, BUT the DTB is different, and the Device Tree ID is different. The CPU binaries are different and the display drivers are different.
So just wait, a lot of work has been done on the S905W Bootloader and Firmware to get it to boot Oreo. When it is upload to website everybody who Follows the atvXperience Facebook Group will be the first to know when the firmware is uploaded to website
