I just got my TX 3 MINI S905W yesterday, everything works fine till i flashed atv v4... Now it won't boot up, nor connect to my laptop.
It will only have red light on when DC connected.

I've tried press reset button and connect to PC, or tried usd USB card burner on an SD card. None of them were able to un-brick.

I was looking for short pins as well, but all the tutorials are about CS_905W_TX_V1.1 or 1.2, mine is CS_905W_TX_V1.6....???
And I was not able to find the stock rom for this... anyone?

Please see below board photo:

UPDATE:
short pins (marked red), make sure to use short pins, then connect USB to PC:

With BGA mounted chips, most of time pins to short are located at opposite (under chip) side of board and please post the photo of pins that worked for you.

Hi justin10 I recently buy a TX3 Mini same board version as you. As I read is the TX3 mini 2020-21 stage.

I located the stock firmware for this board on this vietnam webpage: https://tinhte.vn/thread/tong-hop-cac-b ... i.3022766/ I tested with Amlogic Burning Tool on mine and works OK.

Download stock firmware for TX3 Mini 2020-21 Stage (board 1.6): https://mega.nz/file/TcID3SyB#9SPAqK2ks ... Nar3WSYw48

On this version of TX3 mini I have an strange issue on enabling multiboot, if anyone can help:

Can't enable multiboot (boot from SD or USB Coreelec/Armbian...) by pressing the bottom reset button with a pin while power on. I have tried with Coreelec/Armbian with DTB "p281_2g" and with "p281_tx3_mini". Tried with USB, SD card, by changing the USB port... Also tried by pressing the remote menu button while boot. But none of this methods allow to boot from external media.

I noticed that all of these methods make the Android Recovery to show. But not booting from external media like usually does this chinese TV Boxes with Amlogic.

Aprecciate your help.

Try to execute reboot update command from Terminal window, while SD card is inserted in the box.

Thanks for your response!
Just tried with no success, always is shown the Android Recovery. Tried with different DTB's in SD card: "p281", "tx3_mini", "p212". Also tried with USB... I don't know why this model can't boot from external media...
