Update (Posted on Facebook):

After successfully booting S905W and S905X2 into AndroidTV Oreo, It's time for S905X!

There's a small problem with WiFi drivers, but you can use ethernet easily.

Please don't ask for ETAs 😭 It's really hard to keep up with all the chipsets at the same time.

I'll release the builds when I'm satisfied with the performance and think they are usable as daily driver.

I don't want you guys to run into problems with unfinished builds :grin:

This time, I won't release beta. Only final release for once and for all ;)

For the wifi chipset, I can't be sure since Amlogic dropped support for a lot of chipsets in Oreo sdk. Maybe in Pie, there's a chance.

Today someone send me over a TX7 BT fix which fixed the bluetooth issue for RTL 87328s.

Maybe this will work on OREO too...

That's unlikely to work.
Oreo has a different structure for wifi drivers, they're not stored in system folder anymore.
It won't work.

Oreo v3 for S905X will be uploaded today.
Please note that it's just a beta build, the wifi is working only in a few devices but ethernet works in all of them. Since it's a beta build, a few things may not work as expected but hey, no harm in trying right?😉

Our team member Vadim is working hard for S905W Oreo. It'll be ready in a few days because the build is working, just needs some more testing.

After that, we'll release S912 and S905X2. Only A95X Max - S905X2 will receive an update for now.

Pie will follow soon in v4.

would there be support for USB to Ethernet adapters and USB WiFi adapters?(the internal wifi sucks anyways)
