It seems that these guys have oreo 8.1 SDK, maybe they will share it?

That post is dated from March, and from Poison Team, and if my memory is correct the only 8.1 ROM they released was the S905X2 ROM. Anyways from what I have heard Amlogic makes you Sign NDA's to get your hands on source code and you are on strict orders not to share it.

Ricky did offer me the sdk but I refused since we're moving to Android 9 anyway :D

S805X not S805. It's same as S905X but only supports a max output of 1080p, also it's a LTS chip so it has Official Pie support.

Ok, didn't know there was a LTS chip from Amlogic. Hadn't seen any retail devices with it, maybe the are only in the vendor devices that support cable/satellite TV from licensed providers.

I dont see advantage of Amlogic's soc agenda....

How much will the S805x cost? Box for like 15EUR?....
