Android 8.1 is really not worth it if it's not a totally revamped UI.SlimHouse wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2019 3:31 pm android 8.1 https://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?s=&show ... p=87036910

Yes, stock from tr99 mini and stock firmware from Alfawise A9. These boxes are the same inside. The manufacturer made a mistake, the inscription on the processor "S905", but in fact there is 905X. I installed atvXv3 and other 905x firmware replacing in them bootloader.PARTITION, DDR.USB, UBOOT.USB to files from the stock firmware. Works perfect, but no wifi drivers.
I do not think the manufacturer made a mistake with the inscription on the processor. You have replaced the bootloader binaries with the original files from the stock FW, the kernel is the same in this case and works accordingly on both platforms p201 and p212.DIMIRON wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 8:32 pm Yes, stock from tr99 mini and stock firmware from Alfawise A9. On the stock firmware in AIDA64, there is VP9 in the codecs. S905 doesn't support vp9 right?bumerc wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 6:30 am I do not think the manufacturer made a mistake with the inscription on the processor. Speaking of the Oreo 8.1, I speak exclusively of kernel 4.9.76 with the same codebase for all platforms. It is an "ampere" (p212) build ported to the p201 platform. VP9-Codec is part of this build by default and will be displayed in Device Info accordingly. Just show me the bootloader logDIMIRON wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 7:24 am On the stock firmware in AIDA64, there is VP9 in the codecs. S905 doesn't support vp9 right?
The platform in my box is not p201, but p212. In atvXv2, atvXv3, android pie and stock in all versions of the firmware kernel are different, but they all work on this box. I hope I understand you correctly
