[HELP] Stuck on atvX logo

Hi, when I factory reset I get stuck in the start up atvx logo. I pull power and power up and it starts normally. I've tried to hold in reset button after starting up, to get into recovery mode but nothing happens.

So I thought I'd try a different firmware but sd card version just loads a android with a red x next to it and USB burning tool version, it just gets stuck on the start up atvx logo.

The box is a Tanix 8 Max, s912 Amlogic box

Thanks for the reply.

I have tried the video tutorial but still stuck in atvexperience logo no matter what I do, I have tried 3 different cables as well.

Also when I try and factory reset or get into recovery mode I get stuck on atvexperience start up logo.

Any ideas?

EDIT: Can you give a step by step on how to do it with the terminal? Ive connected to the device via adb and when i write reboot update it says reboot is unrecognized.

Maybe giving some more info will help

I connected to the device via adb shell

1. I open USB burning tool, load the image and click start
2. I insert power cable and then usb cable into the box
3. I write adb reboot update

The box reboots but is stil stuck on the atvexperience start up logo and nothing happens in USB burning tool.

But problem is USB burning tool can't detect my device, probably because when I do the pin, power cable, USB steps, the box never goes beyond the atvexperience boot up logo.

Also I tried to use Atvexperience ota app and chose the file from sd card, it restarts the device but once again it's stuck in atvexperience boot logo.

Back in the day when I upgraded to atvexperience from stock firmware and that worked but now I'm stuck here.

EDIT: Would also be helpful if I could just reset the box, when I try to reset the box it restarts but is stuck on atvexperience logo, I take out power cable and reinsert it and it boots up normally but without being reset.

EDIT 2: So I have now been able to detect the device in USB burning tool. I have tried to install all 3 different firmwares for S912 slow devices options and each time i get the same error.

EDIT 3: I get the same error when I try to flash atvexperience firmware for S912, basically the same firmware which is already on the box

EDIT 4: So I unchecked erase flash/bootloader and was able to successfully the firmware, but when I try to turn it on the box is unresponsive also it no longer turns up in USB burning tools, have I bricked it?

Update:

I was able to unbrick my box using the pin method, took a bit to figure out which pins but in the end got it working. Now I have a beta version of the stock rom installed which doesn't work properly. Im considering once again installing atvx fw on it, but not sure which version to try out and see if I can even install it.

Ive attached a picture of the board, maybe someone can point me in the right direction.
