[mention]antonio6o6[/mention] ok, since I messed up, will give you another quick solution and explain how my tv box is setup...
because I don't use the stock AppDrawer that comes in AtvX. I have AppStarter the AppDrawer made for FireTV/Firesticks set at position 1 line 1 of all the apps on home screeen, cause if anybody new comes over to house that wants to use tvbox they can see all the installed apps quickly and navigate clearly with that AppStarter(appdrawer) and its grey background. But for my personal use I use two apps as my appDrawer's, so firstly I like to use EsFile Explorer as my desktop(starting point well multi-tasking) and use its included App-window to select apps, or Jina Drawer which I highly recommend you try it you never heard of it. Jina Drawer has a lot of settings and you can spend hours customize every little thing in it, but I keep it basic and just have it show all apps, set it transparent background, and have the activation button hidden at the lower left corner of screen. Because I have Air-mouse remote and always use it with tvboxes, makes it very simple to use the Jina Drawer anywhere an at anytime to access its App-Drawer by just point mouse in bottom corner and clicking to bring it up from hidden. Another perk that the Jina-Drawer has is that it doesn't persistently stay in Recents Window like the AtvX app drawer does.

Recommend first playing with the Jina Drawer on your Android Phone or Tablet to quickly understand how to set it up.

Note: Will need air-mouse or wireless mouse to control Jina Drawer on your TV box.

[mention]antonio6o6[/mention] Ok so don't know why the Apktool for Linux on my PC is not repackaging my modified apks correctly. Though 5 minutes on my phone and had the AppDrawer modded and it work first time on install to tvbox. This modification is just the changed wallpaper to V3_background.

If installing in operational tvbox, uninstall AppDrawer with Root Explorer, then delete apk in location ' /system/app/AppDrawer ' ; then copy/paste new larger app drawer into same location, can click to install it or not, but you then must Restart your device just to be sure that it works properly.

Are you serious? Maybe you need to 'Wipe App Data' and reboot for the AppDrawer to work correctly.

To test again, I download apk from this link I posted just to make sure it was the correct app revision, hoping I didn't accidently upload the wrong AppDrawer, and did a clean install of apk again and rebooted and it works for Perfect for me.

Maybe, because the V3 background image is the 4k image Nayam made it is not rendering correctly on your tv, my box is connected to 1080p SmartTV and have no problems with AppDrawer for me, or maybe because 4k image there is problem if your using it in S905W. I don't know really.

I did try changing some XMLs inside the app to try and eliminate the white square background that is on the apps, but my quick edits didn't achieve any positive results.

Yep, it must be 1080p image, smaller file is rendering faster.

I only know of tools for Rockchip that work on Linux computers. You can search on XDA-developers, some stuff is posted there I think. All the old tools are for old versions of Android and you can open the firmware but you can't repack a burnable image file.
