Is there an atvX version for this chip? I see a lot of the boxes are now coming with this chip.

atvXperience v3 oreo will be available for s905x and s905x2 .
S905W and S912 WILL NOT receive oreo because analogic didn't release oreo sdk for these 2 chipsets

I also notice that most of these boxes are coming with Android 8.1. Will there be an atvX with 8.1?

WILL be an 8.1 for s905x2 and possible 9.0 as well.
