Makes it any difference to use a specific chip or not,for example a specific OS ?

I see on most shops cp2102,cp2104,2303,**.**

Which one is the best/working one for android boxes ?

Iam just a liitle NOOBie..

I have taken this one on ebay,PL2303HX,with some wires,

Iam guess that this will work with amlogic s905x boards,
