S905X2 and Andriod 9.0 Pie

Mecool was the first to release a beta 9.0 firmware for TV boxes now they are selling their 9.0 AndroidTV certified boxes. But a lot of people don't like Mecool products, Beelink has the King tv box coming with 9.0 Pie but it is very expensive, so found a more budget friendly tv box by A95X that will start shipping out their first box with 9.0 Pie at end of May beginning of June, check it out:

I saw those HK1_Play also, but I believe those are made by Sunvell and from what I read about the A95X brand, the quality is higher and better out of the box. Price comparison, these two models are very close in price.

Will wait and see what you think of this HK1 brand.

Hi Nayam, how's your HK1 Play going? I just got mine last week and got stuck at boot image after try to reinstall root. Where I could find stock firmware for this box? Are there any compatible custom rom for this box? Thanks

etc/firmware: rtl8723b, rtl8761, rtl8822b

wireless: RT2870STA

Anyone knows wether the RT8189 runs with these?

Android 9 doesn't have any wifi named 8189

I never received mine so I just cancelled the order
