"the worst invention of the century for students" that made me laugh out loud :')

My phones is 2 years old now and started researching and looking at a new phone to buy myself. Only will consider Android Phones. Only way I ever get an Apple phone again is if it totally free lol.

Here are my conclusions:

Best Budget Phones, unlocked + decent features + decent hardware:
1) UMIDIGI F1 Play
2) Xiaomi REDMI Note 7 Pro

Best Overall Phone, unlocked + good price + features + hardware:
1) Xiaomi MI9 6GB Ram 128GB Storage

Best Flagships, downside is the price:
1) OnePlus 7 Pro
2) Hauwei P30 Pro
3) Google Pixel 3XL, key perk is always get the latest Android Updates and Security patches before everybody else does.

Most likely to buy:
1) Samsung S10e, Will most likely get a Samsung S10e under mobile contract to receive the phone at a discounted price.

Downsides = locked into a contract for 2 years and phone is locked to provided carrier.

Positives = phone has great features and great hardware, phone has the IP68 water protection, I like the smaller form factor compared to it's larger brothers or other flagships, and the Samsung Dex software really interests me.

I use a One Plus 6 now. The Android phones I had previously a Nexus 5x, Nexus 5, Nexus 4, Nexus S, and first a Acer Liquid E.

I love the One Plus. It's everything the Nexus was and much more.

Right now I can afford all of the ones on the list I made. Just really don't want to invest all that money on a Flagship phone right now when next year 5G should be in my area. If I go the contract route, I should be able to get an upgrade discount if I upgrade to 5G next year on a new 5G phone. So that is why the Samsung seems like my most likely path.

My primary phone is a Samsung S8. I love the phone, but it's 2 years old so will likely by an S10 later this year.

My second/backup phone is a Samsung S6.
