I am trying multiple launchers on my mobile regarding TV interface. But then fun would have been using open source launcher. Every launcher i tried are closed source.
Btw i liked ATV launcher in play store. The interface is very clean, widgets and be installed and every app is at disposal.

So am I right in assuming ThanOS is for Amogic TV boxes (like S905/W/X etc.)?

If so, would using AOSP offer major advantages over atvX?

I'm not going to build thanOS anymore. I'm gonna have so many copyright issues with it.
Instead, it's gonna be named nOS (as in nitrous oxide).
There are no advantages over atv except for different layout and made-for-mouse UI. Many people don't prefer ATV because they're too habitual to the Phone-UIs, that's where I'm gonna target.

Considering how litigious Disney is, it would be a bit of a risk to name it after a Marvel character. You should be safe with nOS as it's been used as a generic term for nitrous, as long as you don't try to mimic their trademarks too much that is.

you're right, i'll use my own logo for the rom. made this a few months ago for my own name, should work here too
