Open the case and make a photo of the RAM chip, atvX runs on z69, even the LPDDR3 variant with little changes in the bootlader.

Hi Bumerc, sorry to revive an old thread. I've got the same Z69 2G, board version ZY_MX172_V01.

I have attached pictures of both sides. Do you have any images that would work for my device? Thank you

Hi,

Part No.
H5TQ4G63AFR-PBC

Configuration
256Mx16

Speed Grade
-PB = max. CL11 = DDR3-1600 11-11-11

1600/2=800Mhz (uboot = ~792Mhz) max.

You need a normal DDR3 version. The bootloader, however, must be compiled with a fixed CL value of 11 (792Mhz or lower). I will check the CL value of the current bootloader and give you an OK or not OK regarding the installation.

Can you let me know where to get the img from?

As I said, I first have to take the current CL value from the BL2 to see that atvX FW can be installed on your device, unfortunately I have not had the time yet. But I'm going to default to CL13. That would mean - you need to take the original bootloader into the atvX build, or wait until I compile a new bootoader for you.

Hi,
Thank you for the rom firstly. I want to share my experience with atvxperience.
I have Z69 with 2G Elpidia ram. Unfortunately none of the roms worked directly for me and stuck at 2% with an error. So, I used my stock bootloader to flash 2H version. Recovery, Bluetooth and IR remote wasn't working at first. I have reflashed twrp, used poison fix for bluetooth and written a remote.conf. Most of the buttons of my remote are still not working but I don't care, tv remote works well. It took whole day bu it's worth to do. I definitely like the atvxperience..

The above build is for DDR3-CL11 devices. You should get more information. You have an LPDDR3 board. If you want to test, I could build an LPDDR3 trial version..

Thank you for your quick reply. The link is dead unfortunately. I have made another rom with V2H, stock bootloder and bluetooth files and it works without problem. I don't need a rom for now. Thanks.
