It appears that the issue with the X96 Max 4/32GB is in fact the wired ethernet. On Wifi it will play properly but on wired the network adapter is to slow on a 720P video on a gigabit home network backbone I am getting 668kbps on the wired connection causing Plex to transcode to drop the quality down so that it is watchable.

The A95 MAX 4/64GB play's all my 4k's remux with no problems at all thru wired connection using a NETGEAR GS308-100UKS 8 Port Gigabit Ethernet Desktop/Wallmount Switch and a Synology NAS, never liked to use Plex.

Question: by using a ATV custom ROM will it change the widevine allowing to use apps as Netflix for TV? Thanks

Problem solved... Apparently on newer systems Plex was determining that wifi was faster than wired... This was an issue reported Jan 24 and in their support forums they posted a beta version to fix the issue.... Now it works perfectly...

Of course I discovered after a little more investigation that Plex was the culpret prior to finding the fix... Not sure how they could get that kind of issue but I am good again... :yum:

Do we have a release date for the A905X2. We have installed ATV for all s905 boxes we sell through our online store. We have an A95X2 max that we we want to test with ATV?
