Hi Guys,

I bricked my box with SD card method with both erase options selected and revived it with UBT, and No short pin needed.

If you in any way have the tx3 mini board like me, v1.3 2gb+16gb, come with alice ui and claimed as android 8.1 don't flash the box using SD card method, it will brick the box.
The only way to update or flash the firmware is either using the ota package with recovery or using .img with UBT.
Now i'm using atvXperience_S905W_V2H_FINAL flashed with UBT, WiFi and Bluetooth working properly.

I used UBT 2.1.6, connect the box with A-A usb cable and UBT detect the box straight away.
for working box - must press the reset button with some pins and plug the usb cable - start flashing, you can release the pins after flashing start. if you did not do this box will boot up.
for bricked box which only have red light no need to push the reset button.

First I flashed the TX Max firmware but WiFi not working, I assumed the driver is not loaded in tanix original firmware. after reading around in atvx I give it a chance with atvXperience_S905W_V2H_FINAL and all is well... I have my box back in good shape. so far i had no issue using atvXperience_S905W_V2H_FINAL as daily driver for my box. kudos to the ATVx Dev!!

I'm pretty confident that my 1st box is a Chinese clone box because the wifi cip is not detected by tanix firmware
I got another tx3 mini where I bought after the 1st one died which have a MeeGoo boot-screen with android 7.1 and i suspected this also a clone box. This 2nd box don't have Bluetooth.

I recently bought a tx3mini from a local seller, it came with 1.3 board, bluetooth and Oreo with AliceUI by default. I'm very confused with all these board variants.
Does anyone know if the board in the images below is compatible with this rom, which was linked a few pages ago?

your board layout looks same as mine, but i'm not sure the Bluetooth and wifi is the same chip. also we cant confirm wifi or bluetooth or both will work if you change the rom. my box wifi stop working after i install tanix firmware.
for me i got this rom atvXperience_S905W_V2H_FINAL working for my tvbox. if possible get the original firmware from the seller in case it go haywire after installing other firmware.

Yes (counting from the top), or just gently swipe with metal object in that region trough the pins.
