Possible short pin location (red) or others (orange).
TX3 Mini 8723 20181226 - New version
This is the same board I messed up. I tried different firmware and ended up bricking the box. I turn it on and get a black screen no recovery menu is available. I plug it in to my computer and I get nothing. I tried shorting it across the two holes beside the chip and it still did nothing. Any idea how I can recover this box?

Thanks man ill try the orange points. I guess i would try every orange to every orange? Would I do red to orange also? What about the issue with these boxes that pc's dont read them? So even if i hit the proper pins to reset the computer still wont pick it up...
So I originally tried the red pins beside the chip. My board is identical except the chip is on the other side of the board. I see 3 orange pairs. There is that orange strip too, but thats a ribbon on the board. I tried the contacts anyways. The board was connected via usb and had boot on the menu and a red light at the back. I tried the red points plus all 3 orange pairs. I had usb burning tool open and tried all the points and nothing happened. Its kinda weird tho as last time i tried the red points beside the chip i thought the red light went from red to blue when i made contact.

I bought this box in oct of 2018 from dhgate.
Its almost identical to the other 1.3 board posted here. Except the chip is on the other side and in the picture posted before where it shows the short locations it looks like the first board has small capacitors where my board just has solder points.
I have the box connected to a pc running usb burning tool with the world cup drivers installed.The box shows boot and i am touching the 2 points with a piece of wire. Nothing shows up. I actually do see as-tx3mini[dmr] in software devices in my device manager
