I have this s905 box, it looks like an a95x S905 2G+8G
I downloaded some S905 roms and they flash successfully but when I connect the box, all I see is blue light but no display. The tv says output not detected. I don't have enough money to buy more s905 boxes so I have to put up with this.
Please help me fix it.

This has happened to me with every rom I have tried to flash on my MXQPRO S905. The blue led stays on and nothing else happens. I've even left the box on overnight to see if it will boot, but nothing.
The only ROM I've successfully flashed is the Coolio rom from freaktab. There is a licence file you upload to the USB Burning Tool folder. Once I've installed coolio, I can then boot into reccovery, install twrp and restore my stock backup.

I have heard that some boxes come with encrypted partitions where It will not let you burn new non-original firmware images into the TVbox. My only suggestion, which is a complete 'guess' since I have not run into the issue personally; "Is when using Amlogic USB Burning Tool, Click Force Erase All, Click Erase Bootloader, and Click OVERWRITE KEYS."
That would imply to me by default of common sense that original Key are not letting new firmware burn into device. But once you load an img with proper Key it lets you burn and manipulate device. The only ROM I've successfully flashed is the Coolio rom from freaktab. There is a licence file you upload to the USB Burning Tool folder. Once I've installed coolio, I can then boot into reccovery, install twrp and restore my stock backup.
If somebody wants to test my theory, please let us know what occurs. Success or Failure.

After flashing the s905 pre beta img, my box became totally unresponsive. USB Burning tool wouldn't recognise it and nothing would flash. I had to short the nand to get the box to flash the coolio rom. There are many posts on the web telling you which pins to short, most say you must short pin 7/8 or 1/2. Eventually I found this which worked on my box:
My board didn't have the circle marking on it, but the pins where in the correct place from the white dot on the chip.

Thanks, I thought the box I had was faulty because I never have encountered this problem on s912, s905w before.AxEgo wrote: ↑Tue Jan 29, 2019 3:40 am This has happened to me with every rom I have tried to flash on my MXQPRO S905. I'll try the Coolio rom.
