ADTV with DVB-S2 tuner

Hello, I just got this Android TV Box with satellite tuner, it looks like the MXQ Android 4.4 according to manufacturer is Androids 7.1.1, I tested on my satellites setup did scan beautifully, it does work with PV, BI$$ and newcamd, says it is amlogic s905x, I wonder if I provide the firmware it came with could it ve possible to update with atvx without loosing the satellite functionality? Of course I know building a custom ROM it takes time and work and I will gladly "donate" to developers, I can discuss this privately.......let me know so I can make the firmware backup for you............Thanks in advance................AZ
