This is kind of universal, but all theory is the same.
I haven't used this guide personally but it will help you understand the things.
Porting a ROM is always trial and error so don't be discouraged if something doesn't work, it's always a matter of copy/paste.

Hi !

Just signed up and had a noob question:
Is it possible to run an Android ROM for Amlogic from SD card boot, much as can be done with Libreelec/CoreElec (without touching eMmc)?

Looks quite general. Should also work for Amlogic TV boxes ? :') :')
