I have tried my times to install different software versions on the site for the s905x box with no luck.
On this box the reset button is through the SPDIF port and the USB 4 is used to upgrade.
Using the USB method i get stopped everytime at 7 percent.
I have also read that although it is advertised as being a 2x16g box, it is really a 1x16g box. I have tried the 1g 2ff version at least 20 times and get stopped a 7 percent each and everytime.
Anyone have any ideas?
Docooler M9S PRO 16G - USB stops at 7 percent
Let us know if you are able to install atvexperince in this box. I have a few of this and had never been able to install this rom and had the same experience as you had.
By saying that I did not try what " em3ka" is suggesting.

Specifications of your RAM memory:
-K4B1G0446F-HCH9 = DDR3-1333 (9-9-9)
-Configuration 256M x 4 = 1024Mb
DDR3-1333 = CWL = 7; 1333/2 = ~ 667Mhz• 533MHz fCK for 1066Mb/sec/pin, 667MHz fCK for 1333Mb/sec/pin, 800MHz fCK for 1600Mb/sec/pin, 933MHz fCK for 1866Mb/sec/pin
• 8 Banks
• Posted CAS
• Programmable CAS Latency(posted CAS): 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11
• Programmable Additive Latency: 0, CL-2 or CL-1 clock
• Programmable CAS Write Latency (CWL) = 6 (DDR3-1066), 7 (DDR3-1333), 8 (DDR3-1600) and 9 (DDR3-1866)
Programmable Clk. Rate in u-boot = 648Mhz.
You need another Bootloader + meson1.dtb (due to 7% eMMC initialization error). Wait for update.
