[HELP] Rooting S905W

Hello there fellows, i have a problem.
i currently have the atvxperience rom for my s905w unnamed tv box.
i tried rooting it with magisk but failed.
This is what i did: i extracted recovery.partition using rickys tool. patched it with magisk. replaced recovery on rom with patched recovery using rickys customization tool. packed it and reflashed. what did i do wrong?

Ricky's tool is not suitable anymore, try to repack img in some other android kitchen.

Here you have atvX 4.3.1 unofficial version, which is already prepared for rooting with Magisk.

Just tested out the firmware. its nice. however i dont know how to navigate through recovery as remote does not work. keyboard and mouse also does not work. i cban use the reset button to select but not navigate. im not sure how to configure remote. also i dont have stock firmware but the box seems to be a clone of mecool m82 pro w.


EDIT: nvm i got it using flashify. Now the problem is flashing the zip. i have four usb ports and 3 of them dont work. meaning i can only connect one usb at a time. i dont have a usb hub nor a sd card. i copied the zip to my data partition and tried to flash it on twrp but the data partition is full of folders with random letters. im stuck

i have successfully flashed the latest v5 atvxperience beta for s905w. just wondering if there is a way to root it using magisk and have a working twrp. Just wondering what is the difference between atvx 4.3.1 and atvx 4.3.1 unofficial that makes it suitable for magisk. is it the boot partition?
