well if everything is working fine on this box, i assume the next OS version (Oreo) should work fine also.

What i was gathering before that this SOC has some issues and may not be S905X. Can someone enlighten me?

This box sucks lol. The uboot is modified and I'm pretty sure they used low end hardware to make it look like high end. That's why you can't flash generic amlogic images on this.
If this ever supports oreo, I won't be surprised if it catches fire JK

I have seen the tear downs which shows S905X chip. Maybe a low binned chips are used but essentially real Amlogic chips.

Rest i will know when i get my device, now that i am already stuck with it. Assuming this is still better than 32bit chips used at this price segment.

Also @Nayam and everyone else who have ported ATVxperiance for this, Thanks a lot as this saves lots of hassle and clean android TV interface. I only have a 1080p tv only

Yeah, the rom will make the best out of it. Although it is a 32bit chip, it hardly handles 1080p output without lag

This rom runs pretty good on my shitty N5, but how is it possible to set permissions to vpn apps like nord vpn or torguard?
No connection to network possible , btw. vypr vpn app runs like a charm.

My box is still on the way so cant open the box. I know I am too excited for new OS version even being without the hardware. I kind of roll like this
