ADTV with DVB-S2 tuner

Hello, I just got this Android TV Box with satellite tuner, it looks like the MXQ Android 4.4 according to manufacturer is Androids 7.1.1, I tested on my satellites setup did scan beautifully, it does work with PV, BI$$ and newcamd, says it is amlogic s905x, I wonder if I provide the firmware it came with could it ve possible to update with atvx without loosing the satellite functionality? Of course I know building a custom ROM it takes time and work and I will gladly "donate" to developers, I can discuss this privately.......let me know so I can make the firmware backup for you............Thanks in advance................AZ

Hello, after a couple of years with this boxes I got tired with the super slow firmware, freezing and got another satellite receiver non android, I remember seller saying it was S905x, so I took the risk and tried roms here, all got stuck on boot image, then by mistake I loaded img for s905w and it tried to boot, I searched my backups from rom from here at tried the V5 Aidan ATVx also from here, that one took a lot of time to boot pass the boot image until it ask language, wifi connection and it worked that rom doesn't have apk installer but I could sign in Google play and installed Downloader, also install a file explorer and finally could install apk from USB device, obviously the Satellite part is not work it doesn't appear but anyways I was wondering since I have a second of this box is there a way to extract the image from that one upload here to see if you guys can manage to add the Satellite part of this? It is nor a must but for the fun of trying a d testing.........any questions or help is appreciated, also with this rom so far it doesn't freez and works pretty fast...........AZ
I can upload photos of the menu of the other box I haven't flash yet with model and all info from Aida64.

Today took the risk again and flash the box with ATVx V4.3, it boot righ away it has been working flawlessly, I manage to make backup of the other ADTV box with twrp I got from here for S905w, have no clue if that backup can help any developer to get the app and drivers for the Satellite function just to see if it can work, like I said I just want to test, via PM I can get to an understanding with the developers of this ATVx ROM............
